| Toni Randle came to the Christchurch Jazz School in 1996 as one of an elite group of musicians from the same school, Burnside High. Referred to as the 'A' Team by tutors, Toni always maintained vocal parity with the instrumental attributes of the other members of her ensembles throughout her studies. |

| Toni brought an air of adventure, dedication and professionalism to her craft from day one. Her attention to the demands of this new (to her, coming from a classical vocal background) vocal genre was the beginning of three years of hard graft and personal growth. Her classical work was never far away in her practice and her teaching yet the jazz fire had been lit and at every opportunity, Toni absorbed the vocal legacy of the spectrum of jazz divas she could access, be it on disc or video. |

| Current Occupations
Toni is currently a freelance vocalist, specializing in Jazz, Classical, Gospel and Musical Theatre. She is also employed as a vocal educator, at numerous institutions including the Australian Institute of Music (Musical Theatre), St Catherine’s College, International Grammar School, Monte Saint Angelo, and St Patrick’s College. | Education and Achievements
Toni has a Masters, (2003), and a Bachelor, (2000), of Music in Jazz Voice, which she received from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, gaining distinction in both her final recitals. In her time at the Conservatorium she was privileged to work and perform with renowned pianist Judy Bailey. Toni was also invited to be a member of the advanced ensemble, led by esteemed pianist Paul McNamara. Toni also enjoyed Classical coaching from, the then head of department, Brenda Holeman. In 1998, Toni completed her first diploma in Jazz voice, again with distinction in her final recital, at the Christchurch Polytechnic. She was then granted a scholarship from the Polytechnic to further pursue her studies in Australia, at the Sydney Conservatorium. Toni was also awarded her associate diploma (A.T.C.L), from Trinity College London. in Classical Voice, gaining distinction in 1998. During her time as a professional artist, Toni has performed at numerous private functions and made regular appearances with the following ensembles at the following venues; |
